Canavall is located in an old restored building in the historic center of the city of Palma.
Our accommodations, all of them different and unique, are decorated with typical elements of the island, hydraulic tiles, exposed beams and clay floors along with their walls, marking a unique and pleasant Mediterranean architectural rhythm. Egyptian cotton bedding made by Bassols and handmade textiles from Bujosa de Sta. María workshops shine alongside Sybilla ceramics.
The old town was previously divided into two neighborhoods, Canamunt and Canavall, from which our small family accommodation takes its name.
This neighborhood has some of the most emblematic streets and squares in Palma, such as Paseo del Borne, Jaime III, la Rambla, Plaza Joan Carles I and Plaza del Mercat. A few meters away, in Plaza Weyler, is the Gran Hotel, now Caixa Fòrum. A beautiful modernist building serves as a center for interesting exhibitions and across the street the Teatro Principal, where you can enjoy its now famous annual opera season, classical music concerts and plays.
